FCE - B2 - phrasal verbs in English - 1.

Phrasal verbs beginning with B and C.

You just need to insert the preposition or adverb particle. Write only one word in the answer box that is missing from the sentence. There are explanations below.


We were driving along the motorway when our car broke ____. We had to call the road rescue service.


1) Thieves broke ____ our house while we were on holiday. But they didn't take very much.
