Continuamos con el cuento de Mr Tired y el borracho...

Eran sobre las dos de la madrugada y el señor y la señora Cansado estaban durmiendo en la cama. Hacía un tiempo frío y estaba lloviendo mucho. |

De repente, alguien llamó a la puerta de la planta de abajo. Sr. Cansado se despertó pero que no entendía qué estaba pasando. |

Entonces oyó el golpe de nuevo. No le gustaba nada levantarse a estas horas porque el día siguiente tenía que trabajar pero se vistió y bajó la escalera y abrió la puerta. |

Hubo un borracho fuera. El borracho dijo: -Buenas noches. ¿Me puedes empujar, por favor? |

Sr. Cansado estaba muy enfadado. Dijo en voz alta: -Usted no debe molestar a la gente a estas horas de la noche. ¡Váyase! |

Cerró la puerta y volvió a la cama. |

Su esposa le preguntó: -¿Qué te pasa, cariño?- Su marido le respondió: -Hay un borracho fuera y quiere que le empuje el coche. |

So Mr. Tired went back downstairs and out into the garden to the street. He looked right and left but he couldn't see the drunk nor a car. He was now very wet. |

Then he heard a noise from his garden and looked round. The drunk was sitting on a swing. "Hello, again!" said the drunk smiling. "Can you push me, please?" |
